The armchair edit.

So, for my first blog post I thought I would share some of my favourite armchairs with you, you’ll notice that there is a common theme of buttons on all of them – I’m a huge fan of these at the moment. Armchairs are perfect in most rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms or hallways. Whether it’s a statement piece with a pop of colour or a simple classic, you can make it work pretty much anywhere. If only there was enough room in my house for all of them! Some of the sources are high street and others are smaller family run businesses, check them out you never know what you might find.

Atkin and Thyme – Pimlico Armchair -£449

11

I absolutely adore this armchair, the grey-on-grey works so well and the size is perfect for most rooms if you’re looking for an armchair or two that are comfortable yet compact, this is the one for you. They have it in green and blue too if you want to make more of a statement. What I love about Atkin and Thyme is that they focus on high quality and low volume meaning you won’t see these pieces on the high street.

Arlo and Jacob – Grantley Armchair – £685 – £1,345

2

The Grantley is a timeless classic that deserves a place in every home. The story behind Arlo and Jacob is one that gives you that warm feeling inside, inspired and run by family. With over 140 fabrics to choose from you’re spoilt for choice, and lets not forget that you can choose the wood finish too! Arlo and Jacob is the perfect destination if you’re looking for a truly personal chair.

Wayfair – Three Posts Pickney Armchair – £181.99

3

The main reason that this armchair makes the list is because it is affordable in comparison to many others yet it remains stylish and is great quality. Many of the armchairs around are more square in shape so I love that this ones breaks the mould. It is available from Wayfair in black and two shades of grey, Seashell Grey is definitely my favourite.

Dunelm – Alston Snuggle Chair – £549 – £699

4

Okay, so the Alston is larger than a regular armchair hence it’s name ‘Snuggle Chair’. The wide base and low  back makes it perfect for those cosy evenings in with your partner or kids, paired with a footstall these really is the perfect chair for any living space. With 12 colours and 2 leg finishes it’s sure to match any colour scheme.

Swoon Editions – Chester Armchair – £499

5

The final armchair on my list is this gorgeous one in duck egg blue, in this colour the Chester would be the perfect addition to a neutral room. The legs and hand carved and crafted in India making this armchair that little bit more special. (P.s it’s currently reduced to £399, so head on over and grab yourself a steal)

If you’ve seen some armchairs you’ll think I’ll love or know of some amazing designers please leave a comment as I’d love to check them out.
